It’s official: Christina Aguilera’s ‘Bionic’ has bombed. According to Hits Daily Double, the album has only managed to sell an embarrassing 111, 838 units. This marks the lowest 1st week sales in the history of Aguilera’s career.
So that’s the way the cookie crumbles. It seems that the industry has truly left Aguilera behind. With a flop single and a poor-selling album, there is no question that people just aren’t interested in what she has to offer anymore. It’s a shame though because ‘Bionic’ does have some good tracks.
