The show didn't rate too well so the possibility of a second season is slim but the show is AMAZING! Check out our favourite songs below

We could barely contain our excitement this morning with the official announcement that one of our UK favourite's Cosmo Jarvis is coming to Australia and yes he will be touring! Check out the details below
British singer-songwriter Cosmo Jarvis has already courted controversy with his viral sensation "Gay Pirates". The self-directed video for "Pirates" has received over half a million YouTube views following a twitter post by Stephen Fry. Continuing in the thought-provoking vein of "Gay Pirates", Cosmo also released the controversial video to his follow up single "Sure As Hell Not Jesus” which he wrote and directed himself, exploring the themes of shame and redemption from a papal perspective.
The brand new single, “My Day”, which has also been lifted from the album is a Prufrock-like exercise with Cosmo imagining himself as an old man looking back on his youth, criticising his generation’s self absorption and apathy. “All the generations prior to ours seemed to have better music, better movies, better work ethic, manners and standards of social conduct – also the weed wasn’t as strong back then. I therefore felt imposing a bogus hindsight on my generation might be interesting.....” says Cosmo. Cosmo Jarvis is a singer, a songwriter, an actor, a director, a composer, a producer and a multi-instrumentalist. He writes about topics ranging from his alienation from religion to the equal treatment of gay pirates (and he's completed nearly three hundred songs already). Cosmo is an extraordinarily talented twenty-one year old, and a genuine one-off. When Brian Eno is singing your praises, as he did recently - "he is a very interesting example to me of a new kind of person; a new kind of artist" - you must be doing something right.
Cosmo Jarvis will be in Australia in October this year. His album “Is The World Strange Or Am I Strange” will be released on FRIDAY 30 SEPTEMBER, through MGM.

The fourth single to be taken from the hit album Born This Way Lady GaGa has released the amazing video for the single. The song is country pop at it's best (seriously where is Shania Twain these days???) interestingly enough her ex husband Mutt Lange produced this track and features in the background vocals.
The video is still GaGa and while the song may not be a dance track it is still a winner! Check out the video below
We cannot believe we missed this one! We are MASSIVE fans of Nicki Minaj and this song is a real gem! I am sure you have all heard it by now but here is the video!
Remember Jacob Black from Australian Idol in 2007? Well we do! and it has been a while since one of his songs got noticed and with a controversial new video it is about to send him into the spotlight where his music belongs.
Last week Melbourne singer/songwriter Jacob Butler released
his new single UKOK? on I-Tunes and YouTube. His last single was Coma in 2009 but this is the
1st single to be taken from his debut album, Reason...which is due out later this year.
The video for the song features news footage from the recent UK riots and Royal Wedding and
matches perfectly with the catchy indie pop/ rock tune.
The song is a perfect rock/pop blend that features the edgy Butler vocals that made the country fall in love with him back in 2007. It is about time the earlier Idol's started making a come back and getting their name out there. This is the perfect avenue for Butler to re-enter the music industry. Check out the song below we love it!

Evanescence are back after may rumours of a comeback and talk of different directions for the album, the band have stuck to what they do best and that is rock!
The Sugababes have released the video for their new single Freedom the band have suffered many set-backs and with no original members left it can only be downhill from here. Newest member Jade McEwen is clearly the most talented and shines with leg lifts, singing into wind machines and an un-necessary messy dup step breakdown the song is great but the verdict is still out on the video. Check it out below
Kirsty Akers is the name hot on everyone's lips at the moment releasing her first independent album Naked Kirsty has been a big part of the Australian country music scene and now she is stepping out on her own with a new style that is winning her new fans and critics alike.
This week sees singer-songwriter Kirsty Akers new single with Bob Evans, ‘In Spite Of Ourselves’ hit the #1 spot on the AirIt chart ahead of Seeker Lover Keeper and Josh Pyke, the first track to be lifted off her brand new album ‘Naked’. She will be featuring the single and many more songs off the album while on tour later this month with Jace Everett (USA).
We asked Kirsty a few questions about her new album and upcoming tour.
How did the duet with Bob Evans come about?
I Saw Bob Evans open for Keith Urban at a concert and got in touch with him and it all just happened from there.
Both the song and video for In Spite Of Ourselves is amazing how did you come up with the Muppet concept?
Jason Millhouse who is the director of the video came up with the muppets, I didn’t want the typical two people singing to each other and I was so happy the results.
Can you tell us a bit more about your new album ?
It’s called Naked it came out on July 15 I have been working for a year and a half, writing the songs and about 6 months recording them. co-wrote with Melody Pool. With this album I didn’t have to rush this is the first one I have done independently without a record company telling me what to do.
I made all the decisions, choosing all the songs, it’s all me this album and I have been dying to do this one and get the real Kirsty Akers out this year.
Who are your influences for this album?
I grew up listening to full on country stuff Dolly Parton is my biggest inspiration, Johnny Williams have had a huge influence on my for the country side of thing. I have also gone towards more rootsy artists mumford and sons Brandi Carlisle. Need to Breathe am a big fan of their stuff.
Are you touring this year?
New tour starting in August with Jase Everett who sings the theme song for True Blood. I never watched the show before I found out he was the singer and now I am a huge fan. The first show is at the Basement in Sydney.
What’s next after the tour?
I am heading over to the USA in October playing at the Americana festival, I am also releasing the next video for Naked, the single is called “Where’s Lonely Found” and it will be out in a month or two.
Kirsty has been marked as an act to watch since she first came on the scene as a 17 year old winning the prestigious TRTT song writing competition which saw her ensconced in LA and Nashville for writing sessions with a number of hit-making songwriters. Although only 23 years of age Kirsty has been making an impact in her native Australia for the past seven years. Hailed as a remarkable talent by fellow artists, musicians, media and stalwarts of the music industry Kirsty is fearless and brutally honest with a penchant for taking her songs to places others fear to tread.

Reports have come in this morning that Madonna is enlisting the help of William Orbit for her new untitled album. The two have previously worked together on Madge's Ray Of Light album and hopefully with outstanding results it could also help push Orbit back into the producer spotlight. We will bring you more news on the album as it comes.
Missy Elliot is getting ready to make a come back (not that she EVER left!) lending her vocals to the official remix of Katy Perry's number one hit TGIF the remix is outstanding and is the first time the two have worked together (and judging from the song hopefully not the last!) Check out the awesomeness below!

Videos have been flooding in from fans from Britney Spears Femme Fatale tour across the USA. Many of the video's show a completely different Spears compared to her Circus tour that had many critics arguing that Spears was now an empty shell of a performer. After several disappointing live performances earlier this year for promo for Femme Fatale many feared that this was the beginning of the end for Spears as a performer. Regardless of this Spears set off on her tour with rapper Niki Minaj and from the videos we have seen it looks like Britney is BACK! With reports of actual live singing, dancing and actual energy emanating from Spears it would seem that the performer we love and miss is starting to creep back.
Check out the videos below and let us know your thoughts. Is Britney back??
After kicking the last original band member out UK girl group Sugababes released Sweet 7 while the album was packed full of electro pop hotness the bands controversy overshadowed the music and the album flopped big time and the 'Babes went back to the drawing board.
The girls are back with a song called Freedom, the track is an attempt at an electro pop power ballad, it works on some levels but is definitely not the hit they need to propel them back to the top of the charts.
Check out the song below and let us know your thoughts. Are the Sugababes back?
