Love? not dead for Jennifer Lopez after all?

Jennifer Lopez has released an official statement about her label split and what is happening with her album "Love?" I am sensing an official statement from Def Jam in the coming days :) read what jennifer had to say below....

“I am making this statement to put an end to any confusion in regards to my next album, titled ‘Love.’ I have belonged to the Sony family since the beginning of my career as a singer and together we’ve had great success. I have fulfilled my contractual responsibilities with Sony/Epic up to this point, and we have both reached friendly terms about my departure from the label. I’m also happy to say that we’ve found a new home for my album, ‘Love,’ and that it is slated for release in the summer of 2010.”

Leona Lewis Tour

Happy Singer did an interview with The Daily Star, where she said that she has been working and much involved in her upcoming Tour and that she took the hit movie AVATAR as an inspiration.
“I’m so excited and can’t wait. I want people to see that it represents me so
I’m involved in every part of it – even the lighting and merchandise.

I
want to give my fans something very special so I’m trying to create something
that no-one has done before. I hope they’ll be blown away.

The staging
is feminine but weird. We’re almost trying to make another world and incorporate
different moods into the set.

I’ve been inspired by Avatar and I
definitely want to make the show very atmospheric.”

Although VERY doubtful the tour will make it to Australia, we can only hope :)

Oh Melody!!

Melody Thornton ex Pussycat Doll (and possibly the WORST singer of the group) has bragged about her "vocal abilities" and that her fans want her to sing, I encourage the fans to go see her live, it will wake you up to what a truly horrific, horrible singer she is! Personally Nicole has it all for me and delivered live. Read her comments below

I’m not going to abandon that pop demographic that I acquired through the Pussycat Dolls. But it’s not popular-for-the-moment, the kind of music that I’m making. It’s live instrumentation and it derives from ‘60s influences. It’s just kind of what I was raised on, James Brown, BB King-ish as far as instrumentation goes. But vocally, I admire Mariah Carey and was raised on Aretha Franklin, Jackson 5 and all of that, so it’s not going to be like Pussycat Dolls at all.
The fans know that’s what I did for the Dolls. I was like the little trumpet in the back hitting all the high notes. I think they’ll support it for sure. People who like Melody out of the Pussycat Dolls want to hear her sing. Sing sing, not just hum
