Strange Talk

Introducing Aussie band Strange Talk, you may have heard them making waves recently in the US with their smash hit Climbing Walls. Four piece Strange Talk announces their second headline Australian tour, which will see them play East Coast shows this November. This tour news comes just days after Strange Talk’s first single, ‘Climbing Walls’, reached #1 on the Billboard Uncharted Chart. The track and video have been released today and is Produced by the band with additional production and mix by Elliot James (Two Door Cinema Club, Noah and The Whale, Does It Offend You Yeah?), 'Climbing Walls' is an energized, propelled slice of electro-pop.

Directed by Radical Friend (Ambling Amp, Yeasayer) and shot in the Mojave desert outside of Los Angeles, the colourful video has already exceeded 376,000 views on Youtube, and this month was Youtube’s #1 most viewed Australian music video, out rating even Goyte, #5 top rated and #3 top favourite Australian music video.

The band’s self titled debut EP is out now and has been met to rave reviews both here and abroad, picked up internationally by key US taste maker label Neon Gold (who were first to unearth the likes of The Naked and Famous, Ellie Goulding, Penguin Prison and Marina and The Diamonds). New remixes emerge this week from the likes of Van She Tech, Draper and the band themselves.

Watch the video below it is pure electro pop goodness and the kind of music that Aussie bands need to embrace in order to stay relevant. The video is beautifully shot and reflects the music perfectly.

With their renowned electro-pop sounds and infectious lyrics, Strange Talk’s upcoming shows are the perfect backdrop to ring in Australian Summer.
