A new sound from Greenday , what is this?
People this is nothing to get hopes or dreams up, we can all
calm down this actually nothing new at all.
:Kill the DJ", the new song from the kings of pop punk is a
new sound for the band Greenday, but not for the members.
You may remember that in 2008 the Greenday boys
started a new band and recorded an album under the name “foxbro hot tubs”. If
you do remember that , then you would know that this song sounds exactly like
that stuff.
Now don’t get me wrong, I personally like that stuff better
than some of Greenday's songs and "Kill the DJ" is an awesome song, I was just saying
that it isn’t a new sound for them.
Kill the DJ is a throwback to the rock of old, the guitars
are dirty, the vocals raw , but the song still remains as catchy as ever (which
is what we want from Greenday) , I am pretty sure a lot of people will being
singing along to the chorus fairly soon.
