Singer/Songwriter Kirsty Akers is gearing up to release her new album Naked on July 15. The album is preceded by the re-working of the John Prine classic In Spite Of Ourselves and features Jebediah/Basement Birds singer Bob Evans. The song is the perfect blend for the two singers showcasing what true talent's they both are. Akers new album is set to explode her onto the Aussie music scene citing influences from bands like Mumford & Sons, Brandi Carlisle & Need to Breathe while mixing it up with the country style of Dolly Parton and Hank Williams.
