It's been nine years since the passing of Aaliyah, every year I leave a candle lit for her and play her music all day, it's intersting to listen to her album "Aaliyah" and hear that it is just as fresh as it was when it was released. Aaliyah had the most amazing spirit, her relationship with Timbaland and Missy Elliot was close and we think of those she left behind and her family on this day.
