Timebomb - Kylie

The princess of Australian pop music is back with the hottest track she has done in years!

The song is called Timebomb and is in celebration of Kylie's 25 years in music, the song absolutely slays and unlike the pop sonority that was "Aphrodite" this song actually packs a punch and stands out in the music world today. Kylie has clearly taken a leaf from Britney and JLO and done the dance music thing and it suits her perfectly.

Check out the hot song and video below! Let us hope this is the kind of music Kylie can deliver on her next album!

Goin In - Jennifer Lopez feat. Flo Ride

Jennifer Lopez has been recording a lot of songs lately and this hot mess of a track is from the latest Step Up movie. Joined by Flo Rida I have no idea who would think this song was a good idea and the vocals are beyond horrible.

Remember when JLO would record rnb/pop songs with REAL rappers like Ja Rule, Nas, Ll Cool J and Fabulous? I'm Real anyone? Feelin So Good please! These songs made an impact and delivered some sort of appeal unlike this crap she is churning out now.

Check out the floptastic song below

Guardian - Alanis Morissette

Its actually really hard to find the words to describe this song.
It wasn’t overly a band song, yet for some reason I wasn’t a fan of it.
I feel the problem is that it played it safe; it wasn’t that much of a stretch from anything she has done before as an artist that has been played over and over on the radio and if I didn’t know it was a new song it could have easily been mistaken as one of those older songs.
That being said vocally Alanis has given us yet another faultless performance, her voice is always beautiful and while some progression in her music would be nice, her voice is one thing that should never change.
Musically though, the track felt boring. It was a standard slow track from any female artist that had no drawing power or twists to make it a stand out track on the airwaves.
This was an ok song from an artist I hoped for more from and seems a better fit as an album filler song than a single. It isn’t bad, but it’s nothing new and while it will keep fans happy, it will not be winning over any new ones.

Turn To You - Justin Bieber

Move over JT, JB is stepping on your toes and there is nothing you can do about it!
With his new song “turn to you” Justin is moving into more mature ground and showing the world his more than just a baby face that teen girls swoon over.
Lyrically this the song is a big step forward, instead of the normal “I love you” moments that felt too hard to believe that someone so young could ever understand , this songs about his mother who clearly struggled to raise him and it’s kind of thank you to her, which is a little cheesy but still sweet of him.
Musically even bigger leaps forward have been taken, not only does his voice sound amazing now (thank god his stopped sounding like his 12), but the track is well written, powerful stuff.
It all comes together really nicely and makes you believe he means every word he is singing and actually moves you.
Now I know that this song will have a lot of attention from fans that want another song from Justin and will be ignored by a lot of his haters, but I think if his music continues down this almost Timberlake style sound we might see some change between fans and haters opinions.

Waiting On You - Ultra Nate & Michelle Williams

Watch out Lady Gaga, put a lid on Madonna, the ultimate gay anthem for 2012 is here! Delivered by dance diva Ultra Nate and one third ex Destiny's Child member (and solo star in her own right!) Michelle Williams. The song is pure club trashiness and will have you dancing all night. The video is a little cheap but it fits the songs and showcases the two ladies perfectly. This song should be ripping up the clubs any day now! Check out the video below

I Don't Like You - Eva Simons

One of our favourites Eva Simons is back with a hot new song and video titled "I Don't Like You" the track is pure pop dance heaven and showcases why this diva should be at the top of the charts! The video is beautifully shot with Simons looking every bit the diva we imagine she is. Check out one of 2012's hottest songs below!

Serena Williams "raps"

Tennis star Serena Williams delivers the hottest of hot messes with an attempt at a "solo rap career" that's right folks...rap...check out the "winner" below with hot lyrics like "on the court I serve them up" and "I cook up this track like a frozen pizza" Let us hope this NEVER eventuates

Glee covers Dinosaur by Ke$ha

We all love a good Glee song (or are getting tired of them?) whatever the case may be they are now delving into album tracks and obscure songs that are not only making the show more interesting but the soundtrack albums as well. This is possibly the oddest song choice for Glee but it works in every single way. Brittany S Pears covers the song and does a damn good job. Check out the song below

Big Hoops (The Bigger The Better) Nelly Furtado Video Review

What can I even say? I feel let down, I actually loved ‘I’m like a bird’ (just don’t tell anyone ok) and most of the stuff Nelly has released from then has been pretty good, I’ll give her the credit she deserves, she sure has come a long way.
Well that is until now.
The new release ‘big hoops (the bigger the better)’ is nothing to get excited about what so ever.
I’m not really sure that a song that is mostly about the earrings she is wearing and how the bigger they are the better is ever a good idea to begin with, but hey with the right vocals and music behind it, then it could work.
That didn’t happen here either though sadly, the vocals sound like Fran Drescher with a cold trying to rap over some drums and really for the most part that is all there is to the song, some synths do come in every so often, but isn’t used much, which I think was meant to make the focus Nelly’s voice(sadly).
Also can it be explained to me why this song goes into a weird trash pop bit out of nowhere at the very end? It really doesn’t seem to fit the rest of the song at all.
